How to water in August?

Watering is essential, but don't overdo it! Proceed early in the morning or in the evening after sunset, so the water does not evaporate due to being too hot. It is essential to understand if the plant gets wet enough. To understand it, just touch the soil with your hands: every time it is dry it is time to water.

It is also useful to know that in clay pots the soil dries faster than in plastic ones, so the latter need to be wetted less frequently.

It is better to wet a lot but not every day rather than a little but several times a day: in this way, in fact, the water cannot go deep.
